Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 | Presidential Helicopter Crashes 

According to Sources a Zimbabwe Air Force Helicopter went down recently whilst it was part of the presidential transportation fleet.  Apparently it was meant to be transporting Vice President Constantino Chiwenga who is said to be the former General and mastermind behind the Military Intervention that led to the ousting of long time President of Zimbabwe the Late Robert Gabriel Mugabe former leader of ZANU PF and former Commander in Chief of the Zimbabwe Military. 

It is alleged that the Air Force of Zimbabwe helicopter that crashed had initially been reserved for transporting Vice President Constantine Chiwenga and some of his security aides to and from the hastily arranged Munhumutapa event in Masvingo that was all about hailing Emerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa as the King of the Mutapa or Munhumutapa Empire.  Something that Robert Mugabe stayed clear of.

Further allegations are that Chiwenga who had received a prior intelligence briefing and thus did not attend the event.  It is said instead he opting to attend a separate non-state religious event in Bulawayo which has left quite a few raised eyebrows in Zimbabwean society both in Zimbabwe and in those who are exiled and in the Diaspora.

This happens hot on the heels of Chiwenga's meeting with Mnangagwa on Monday where it is said that there was more smoke than sausage rolls.

Other sources have made it abundantly clear that the job of a Zimbabwean Military General is now one of the riskiest in the world with over 20 being reported as dead since the 2017 military, “coup, not coup, Coup military intervention.”  One would think that they are on the front lines in the Russian offensive in Ukraine 🇺🇦 yet they are in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼.  Even the fighting in DRC 🇨🇩 and Sudan 🇸🇩 has killed fewer Generals.

Maybe the Zimbabwean Generals have a special Military Operation like that mentioned by the Russian President and a Napoleonic Fighting style of being front and centre of the conflict and battle lines with swords 🗡️ cannons antique pistols on the back of horses 🐎.  (Ok no more jokes Generals are people too and they do have families and friends)

The rumours flying around are that the Generals are being killed of by the Mnangagwa Family especially the son who was put in charge of vast swathes of the armed forces at a tender age and is demanding that his seniors kiss his boots or die. (More on this in another blog)

Essentially it looks like the Vice President and former General Constantino Chiwenga is trying to stay alive whilst all his former colleagues are being killed off one by one. It looks like the President is very afraid of another military coup and is killing everyone in his path.  It looks like he has co-opted his entire family and made Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 a double laughing stock.  Guchi (Mrs Grace Mugabe) bought shoes etc and we saw what she wore.  Now the Mnangagwa’s are taking over the Law, Minerals, Goats, Military, Finance and even the Food. 

Still no Voters Roll for CCC

It has come to the attention of staff at Zimbabwe Freedom of Expression that the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) is still to give the leading opposition in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) a copy of the full Electoral Voters Roll.

One can only wonder what excuses Chigumba is going to make given that ZEC is alleged to have previously had some private conversations with the President of Zimbabwe Emerson Mnangagwa who is also one of the competitors in this years elections in less than 20 days time.

CCC Structures Found, More to come

It has come to the attention of ZIMBABWE FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION that there are reports of Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) not having any structures or candidates.  For those who may be naive or duplicitous this may indeed be their truth.

Following our own investigations, we have been able to locate one of the CCC structures in an English town called Reading found at map coordinates 51.45834° N, 0.97499° W, which has been checked and verified unlike the shifty and shoddy job of Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) which put some coordinates in the North Pole and in Green Land.

This town is roughly 30 minutes by Bullet train from London Paddington Train Station.  It has been reported by train drivers, that once completed the High Speed Railway 2 trains (HS2) will be able to complete the same journey in just 15 minutes from start to stop and will be faster than all buses in the world, unlike the situation in Zimbabwe where all the buses travel faster than all the trains.

The Chairman of CCC Reading Brach is reported to be Mr Charles Mararirakwenda.  He is the gentleman in the photo holding up the placard that reads,

He recently attended two peaceful demonstrations, “Anti Gold Mafia, What Independence and Free Wiwa” demonstrations that were held in London on Teusday 18th April 2023 and Wednesday 19th April 2023 respectively.

It is highly likely that the CCC candidates for electoral office will be announced soon in Zimbabwe and will be paraded for all to see.  We will try and publish a list of the candidates once they are availed to us.

For now, what we know is that, the continued persecution of opposition political activists, members of opposition political parties especially CCC and supporters of Opposition political parties especially CCC in Zimbabwe is continuing unabated with the explicit acquiesce of Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front (ZANU PF) leaders.  For as long as that continues it is highly unlikely that the CCC leadership in Zimbabwe is going to make any significant announcements regarding structures and candidates as it likely that more will be persecuted by the stooges of ZANU PF junta regime.

A top so called Murakashi called Lee Ann Cara has lamented the huge increase in prices caused by inflation and has called for Mthuli Ncube to use plan D.

Zimbabwe: Authorities launch crackdown against students protesting high fees

Authorities must drop sinister charges against University of Zimbabwe students who have been peacefully protesting high fees and affirm their right to freedom of assembly and expression.

Although one might not necessarily agree with the protest, there is absolutely no doubting the fact that this heavy handedness by the Zimbabwean state Authorities shows a clear lack of understanding of the right of all citizens to have the right to protest peacefully in Zimbabwe.  

There was no threat to overthrow any government, there was no political actor or political activism involved.  This was just a simple peaceful protest that is being met with brute force akin to one using a baseball bat in a glass house to kill a humble house fly.  

The students were likely ill advised to protest at the university.  Yet one may ask; Where else could they have peacefully protested without making a quasi political statement?  

Sadly though, as much as countless others have warned before, there is actual Lawfare (Law being used in political warfare) in Zimbabwe.  Those that are pulling the strings are occupiers of some of the states most powerful institutions.  Hard men and Women that are untouchable, all to the detriment of the ordinary civilian.

If not already there, somehow and in some way, it is highly likely that Zimbabweans will feel as though they are in a proverbial pressure cooker.  Then at some point, without steam (the right to protest peacefully) being let out, the pot might burst.  

Until then, one can only implore the government and state organisations to follow the constitution and the United Nations treaties and Conventions that Zimbabwe is signatory to, instead of making things up as they go along.  

WFP set to feed Zimbabweans again

Sadly, Aljazeera is reporting that we have reached that time again as Zimbabweans.  This is the time when we get fed by the World Food Program (WFP).  A program run by the United Nations; supported by the global West to feed us.  Whilst some of us complain and ask, “what then was the point of the land redistribution if we can’t even feed ourselves?”  Then the Zimbabwe Government will later on claim that it was the one that fed millions of Zimbabweans with somewhat fictitious surplus grain.

Alongside all that, for arguments sake, aside from the usual human rights questions that we always ask, we are now asking; when will ZANU PF start questioning its existence, given that it has been in power for the last 40 plus failed years.

Nick Mangwana Exposes ZANU PF Lies

Infamous ZANU PF hard core member and former U.K. mental Health Nurse Nick Mangwana has exposed the long time lies of his ZANU PF sect members and made it clear that there are, “NO TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS,” on his President and Excellency in the U.K.

One only wonders what new lies they will tell now?

Like a snake in the grass, we have absolutely no doubt he is going to continue slithering his way around the corridors of power, helping to siphon the precious resources of the nation, whilst the children of Zimbabwe continue to suffer at the hands of His President and His Excellency.

Suspected Bomb blast at CCC Rally

Reports are coming in that there has been a suspected bomb blast at a CCC rally in Zimbabwe.  It is not known whether there were any injuries.  The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) are still yet to comment on the incident.

Asylum accommodation deaths ‘twice as high’ as Home Office admitted

Ninety-five people have died in asylum accommodation since April 2016, almost double the figure recently admitted by the government, raising suspicions the Home Office has deliberately downplayed the death toll.

And the data reveals that in the past two years there has been a particularly sharp increase in the number of deaths of those housed under asylum support provisions, such as in hotels.

Junior minister James Browne says the move will help vulnerable women working in prostitution

Women being exploited in the sex industry are among 17,000 undocumented migrants who will have the opportunity to regularise their legal status in Ireland under a “once in a generation” amnesty.

Junior minister with responsibility for law reform James Browne is introducing the widescale amnesty, which he said could also potentially affect any Afghan nationals already living here who are undocumented.

The scheme to regularise the status of undocumented migrants who have been living in Ireland for at least four years, or three years in the case of those with children, is being brought to Cabinet next month.

In November a portal will be opened for the up to 17,000 eligible undocumented migrants living in Ireland to apply for legal status . It will remain open for six months. The scheme will give migrants unrestricted access to the labour market, and allow them to apply for citizenship later.

The majority of undocumented migrants in Ireland are from the Philippines, Mongolia, China, Bangladesh, Brazil and Malawi. Data shows 75pc of them have been in Ireland for more than five years and 2,000 of this number are children — 93pc are working and 70pc are aged between 24 and 44.

“This is a once in a generation scheme to regularise the undocumented. We always ask the Americans to do it for the Irish. To have credibility, we need to be doing the same,” Mr Browne told the Sunday Independent .

“These migrants are people who are already here, and have been for several years, but at the moment they are working in the black economy. A lot are working in kitchens and in some healthcare settings.”

Some undocumented migrants arrived on visas permitting them to work for a certain amount of time, but they then remained in Ireland. Others never had permission to work here but found jobs in the black economy.

In relation to women who may be undocumented and working in prostitution, Mr Browne said the amnesty could “absolutely” help them to escape from criminal elements that have potentially forced them into the sex industry.

“There are people who are trapped and undocumented in this country. Women are particularly vulnerable out there on the black market. They are at risk and there’s no doubt they are being exploited by criminal elements because of their undocumented status,” he said.

Mr Browne added that there could be a small number of Afghan citizens living here as undocumented migrants.

“There could be some undocumented Afghanis living in the community who are eligible. Anyone who fits the criteria will be encouraged to apply. It is a win-win situation. It gives migrants more rights and full access to the labour market as well as protections. It is always better for our society for everyone living and working here to have the same status and rights. It will also ensure employers have obligations to provide protections.”

The refugees due to arrive in Ireland after fleeing Afghanistan last week will not be eligible for the scheme, as they will enter the country as asylum seekers. This is an entirely different process, which sees asylum seekers aspire to refugee status, in a process that takes a number of years.

It is the intention of officials to keep the scheme as straightforward and simple for applicants as possible, Mr Browne said. The State did not want a situation where undocumented migrants had to access complex legal advice in order to find out if they were eligible for the scheme, he added.

Mr Browne has worked closely with NGOs in developing the scheme, including the Migrant Rights Centre Ireland.

It is expected undocumented migrants subject to deportation orders due to any criminal offences will not be eligible for the scheme.

“It will provide an opportunity for those who meet its criteria to remain and reside in the State and to become part of mainstream Irish society rather than living on its margins,” Mr Browne said.

“The scheme will be finalised by my department in the first week in September. It will then be brought to Cabinet by the end of September.

"I expect the scheme will then open in November.”

Gata allegedly appoints chain of nephews to top ZESA executive posts

Controversial Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) executive chairman Sydney Gata is once again embroiled in allegations of corruption and nepotism following his decision to appoint nephews and cronies to top executive posts

According to a statement by an undisclosed whistleblower close to ZESA, seen by Nehanda Radio, Gata this week retrenched several top employees and appointed his relatives who worked for the company during the time of the late former President Robert Mugabe.

“The corrupt ZESA Executive Chairman has started his corruption without fear or embarrassment. Today he has announced Executive changes in Zesa, bringing back ex ZESA executives who are related to him and who he worked with during  former President R G Mugabe. Today Fortune Sambo, Gata’s nephew, has bounced back,” the whistleblower said.

“No interviews nor any tender done. Sambo was an Industrial Relations Officer in Zesa. He was retrenched by Gata and given a package. He stayed outside zesa for less than 6 months.

“He was re-engaged as a consultant then as an Executive Director Corporate Services within a few months by Gata his sekuru without any procedure. 

“He was given another package when the ministry refused to sign his contract. In both instances he came out with Executive vehicles. Using the same tactic he is back according to Gata effective 01.09.2021.”

The source added that Gata appointed another nephew, Macrone Utah who used to be a technician at the institution to the position of Executive Director Operations.

“Utah. He is Gata’s nephew again. He is an ex-Zesa Technician. When Gata was appointed by the former President RG Mugabe. He elevated this Technician to the position of Executive Director Operations.  He was retrenched also and given a hefty package. He has been recalled back from the UK so that they carry on with their ZESIT corrupt mission.”

The whistleblower said Gata also elevated Engineer Nyachowe, an ex ZESA engineer to the position of Executive Director Technical Services. Nyachowe is allegedly linked to Gata through the late Mugabe.

“He was also retrenched and given a hefty package. He once bounced back as a ZETDC board member during the G40 era but the board was dissolved.

“Eng. MIDZI IS AN ex REA Executive Director who was retrenched and is now a pensioner. He owns his electrical business and he supplies material to ZESA subsidiaries up to now. Dr Manyaya we understand is an officer from Potraz.

“ZESA is undergoing a restructuring exercise. This level of corruption is shocking.  Gata as an Executive Chairman has done more harm to this public entity. All vandalism and Copper thieves are protected by GATA through ZESA Loss Control who are vandalising public infrastructure.

“Gata is always bragging that he does not listen to any other person except HE . When it comes to Gata the President is ready to fire even any minister who goes against (him) because Gata is being used to front HE’s corruption in zesa.

“This is an automatic dismissible offence but Gata won’t be fired, instead his position and wishes will be further strengthened by Mnangagwa. He is on leave but he sat on a panel that did interviews for the Public Relations Manager,” the whistleblower revealed.

Basically, it is reported that “all Executives that were on Acting Capacity were removed today because they refused to be part of Gata’s corrupt gravy train.”

In January this year Nehanda Radio covered how Gata was under fire over a bizarre internal memo effectively instructing the company’s Managing Director to enter into a copper harvesting contract with cable manufacturer CAFCA allegedly without going to tender.

A source who spoke to Nehanda Radio said by having a meeting with CAFCA to discuss the contract, Gata had already violated procedures that clearly state such deals have to go to tender.

In an exclusive interview with Nehanda Radio Gata however denied the claims saying this was “nonsense”, “You yourself have quoted me as insisting that ZESA, ZEDTC and PRAZ processes and procedures are to be observed. So where is problem?”

Told “even as you state that procedures must be followed, you have already had a meeting with CAFCA, thats were the concerns are coming from? Procurement is the process of selecting a company and the perception from the letter is that you have already selected CAFCA,” Gata hit back;

“You really must be desperate !! I am allowed to meet anyone at all. The meeting CLEARLY STATED that due process and procedure must be followed. Where is your concern really?” Gata said.

However a ZESA source who spoke to Nehanda Radio claimed Gata had “already assigned someone in the western region (Bulawayo) who is leading in copper harvesting a sure sign the selection was being done without following tender procedures.”

Gata was asked if there was a tender advert which Caffca had won? His response was that Nehanda Radio was “being used by bogus copper dealers whose licenses will not be renewed.”

Gata is believed to be a close relative of President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Last year, he was suspended after being accused of corruption by former Energy minister Fortune Chasi. But it didn’t last him many weeks before he was reinstated and Chasi was instead fired. Nehanda

Guinea Coup after Zimbabwe Intelligence foiled one in 2004

Soldiers in Guinea said on Sunday 5 September 2021, that they had arrested the president and staged a coup.  This is the latest political upheaval in the impoverished west African nation, as the government insists it has repelled the attack.

"We have decided, after having taken the president, to dissolve the constitution," said a uniformed officer flanked by soldiers toting assault rifles in a video sent to AFP.

The officer also said that Guinea's land and air borders have been shut and the government dissolved.

Claiming Conde was in custody, a junta spokesman said he had not been harmed and his welfare had been guaranteed.

Guinea is the same country that was saved from a coup attempt by the Zimbabwean Military Intelligence in 2004, which implicated the son of the late Margaret Thatcher.

ZANU PF YOUTH seem ashamed to wear their Kit

In what seems to be a strange but now common occurrence in Zimbabwe, the children of ZANU PF members seem to be ashamed of the current ZANU PF leadership.  

The children of ZANU PF members seem to be ashamed of the fact that to show support for their ruler (ED Mnangagwa), they need to have his face emblazoned on their clothes, in what is commonly known as ZANU PF party Regalia.

It is likely that the internet, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Google are to blame for the children not supporting the rouge regime that takes away the rights of even War Veterans who fought in the Liberation war.

War Veterans earn as little at USD$1.00 per day as their pension from the Government, whilst the same Government buys Lexus, Isuzu’s, Mercedes Benz and Rolls Royce to show of their opulence and luxurious lifestyles in the faces of the poor.

The children of ZANU PF Members can likely see what is happening in other African countries such as France, Belgium, Netherlands, Canada and Singapore in terms of development, the rights of the Girl Child and Freedom of Expression for all.  They are likely then comparing the situation in Zimbabwe and can see clearly that the regime of old ZANU PF codgers is failing Zimbabwe.   

Leaders fill Stadiums, Rulers empty them

Hakainde Hichilema’s inauguration filled the Zambian National Stadium (Independence Stadium) during what has been an exciting week for Southern African persecuted opposition political parties.  As many have said, “one of our own has achieved what seems to have been the impossible.”  Hakainde Hichilema has been inaugurated as the President of Zambia.

It’s worth noting that even in the middle of a pandemic, the leader managed to fill the stadium to capacity, whilst Emerson Mnangagwa the ruler of neighbouring Zimbabwe on the other hand had an empty stadium before the pandemic (see video).  One of the risks of such a full stadium is that this could be deemed to be a supper spreader event.  Likely taking a leaf out of Joe Biden’s books might have been a great idea.  However, only time will tell.  As a side note, the National Broadcasters in Zambia 🇿🇲 did not give HH any media coverage before his inauguration so, it’s likely he could put the blame on the previous regime and the rights of the Media to cover elections fairly without prejudice, hence his inability to communicate in a calm manner to his followers and the rest of the country may have been somewhat curtailed.

The optimism and good will for Zambia by Zambians and others in opposition politics in the region (SADC) is immense.  One does hope that Human Rights for all will be realised within Zambia.  Especially in the realms of politics.  It is hoped that strong independent institutions that operate as checks and balances of the majority will be allowed to operate independently and be respected.

It is also hoped that all the crimes against humanity and human rights abuses will be properly investigated then tried by an independent, just and fare judiciary that is not controlled by anyone.

The dig at ZANU PF emptying stadiums is not without evidence and the significance is an extremely huge barometer on the popularity of the ruling party by its supporters and all those who are independent voters.

This unfortunately has not happened in the Zimbabwean context for over 30 or arguably 40 years.  The last smooth transition of power in the Zimbabwean context from one political party to another occurred on Independence day on the 18th of April 1980.  The last smooth transition of power within a ruling party occurred when the late Canaan Banana (ZANU) handed over the Presidency to the late Rober Mugabe (ZANU which became ZANU PF).

Memory Machaya Paedophile arrested and Herald starts Spinning lies

It seems the ZANU PF National press is at it again.  The propaganda machine of the Herald is in full swing.  The police could have done a full presser to lay out all the facts, but it seems they’re avoiding providing evidence of  a case that is of National importance.  They’ve sent out the Gvt paid journalists who get water from boreholes in low density suburbs.

Let’s read what they’ve written below and take it all with a pinch of salt.  The real truth will come in court.  The Source is the Herald.  The Herald is a Government Newspaper and is the largest in Zimbabwe.

Hatirarami Momberume, is the man accused of impregnating the 15-year-old girl who recently died while giving birth at an apostolic sect’s shrine in Marange, has appeared in court charged with murder while the girl’s parents were also arrested in Kwekwe for defeating the course of justice.

Momberume (26), who works at a farm in Kwekwe, is also being charged with being intimate or performing indecent acts with a young person.

Yesterday, police detectives picked the deceased’s father, Edmore Machaya (45) and his wife Ratchel Mabika (36) at Garibold Farm in Kwekwe amid indications they had lied about the girl’s date of birth.

They were taken to court where they were denied bail.

Mabika stands accused of misleading the police by submitting her name as Shy Mabika when her real name is Ratchel.

Momberume was not asked to plead to murder and having sexual intercourse with a minor when he appeared before Mutare regional magistrate Mrs Lucy-Anne Mungwari.

Mrs Mungwari remanded him in custody to September 3.

Messrs Tirivanhu Mutyasira and Jonathan Chingwinyiso appeared for the State, while Mr Brian Majamanda of Khupe and Chijara Law Chambers represented Momberume.

Mr Majamanda told the court that he would apply for bail in due course.

However, bail applications in respect of murder cases are dealt with by the High Court, which has jurisdiction over such third schedule offences.

It is the State’s case that Momberume caused the death of the girl by impregnating her and failing to take her to a proper health institution to receive healthcare services.

“Instead, the accused person took Annah Machaya to Johanne Marange traditional midwives where she delivered and died after some labour complications.

“He thereafter secretly buried her without notifying the authorities of her death,” reads part of the court papers.

To cover up for the offence, it is alleged that there was misrepresentation that the deceased was Memory Machaya aged 22.

On the other count, Momberume is said to have impregnated Annah (15) and stayed with her as his wife.

She then fell pregnant and died on July 15 while giving birth to a baby boy at a shrine in Marange, Manicaland.

Annah’s parents were picked up in Kwekwe and taken to court for defeating the course of justice by furnishing investigators with false information.

The couple Edmore Machaya and Ratchel Mbika were remanded in custody to 9 September after their bail request was shot down.

Kwekwe prosecutor Ms Michelle Daraja told the court that the two gave false information to the police following the death of their child Anna Machaya on 15 July 2021.

It is the State’s case that on 9 August 2021 the two, who are biological parents to the deceased, were approached by detectives investigating the death.

The couple allegedly misrepresented to the police that the girl who had died was Memory Machaya born on January 2, 1999.

They allegedly furnished the police with a national registration certificate of the said Memory Machaya which they knew belonged to another person who is alive.

Police investigations later established that the deceased was in fact, Annah Machaya born in July 2006.

 NON-GOVERNMENTAL organisa- tions (NGOs) have accused the ruling Zanu PF party of protecting child abusers in the Johane Ma- range Apostolic Church through their “unholy alliance.”

The accusations came after a 14-year-old who is known as Memory Machaya  allegedly died at a Church Shrine in Bocha, Marange in Manicaland province during the annual festival last month while giving birth.

Thousands of church members were allowed to congregate despite President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s level 4 COVID-19 lock- down prohibiting gatherings.

Police earlier in the week arrested Machaya's alleged husband, Evans Momberume, and advised that he would appear at the Mutare Magistrate Court soon. Momberume, who is being charged with having sex with a minor, allegedly fled from the scene when Machaya died.

Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition (CiZC) said the church’s closeness to the ruling Zanu PF was giving the culprits impunity and accused the ruling party of sacrificing the rights of the girl child on the alter of political expediency.

“Over the years, we have witnessed an unholy alliance between Zimbabwe’s ruling party Zanu PF and a number of apostolic sects with the former campaigning for the ruling party during elections. This has allowed the apostolic sects to violate the rights of girls and women with impunity. That unholy alliance must be broken,” CiZC said in a statement.

The comments come after Justice minister Ziyambi Ziyambi was on Tuesday quizzed by MPs on why the police were failing to deal with the matter.

In response, Ziyambi said the police were facing resistance in investigating the case. He did not disclose the source of the resistance.

CiZC added: “It is shocking that law enforcement agents mandated to maintain law and order as well as protection of fundamental rights, including those of the girl child, would claim to face resistance in a case of such magnitude, a case that has attracted world wide condemnation when the perpetrators are well known individuals.” Machaya’s case, the group said, was a litmus test for the Zimbabwean government’s commitment to the protection of the girl child.

“It is shocking that police in Zimba- bwe have often responded with brute force against citizens calling for eco- nomic, political and electoral reforms yet they have developed a lackadaisical approach in this case.

“The rights of the girl child are sacrosanct and should never be compro- mised as a result of the lust for polit- ical support and power. As it stands, the girl child in Zimbabwe is at the mercy of unscrupulous church leaders and the government. Women and girls’ safety should never be exchanged for power.”

Zanu PF spokesperson Simon Khaya Moyo immediately rubbished the claims, saying Zanu PF had nothing to do with the matter.“Are they saying the ruling party protects lawlessness?” Khaya-Moyo asked. “That doesn’t make sense. 

Zanu PF is not a law enforcement agent. They must understand that. Where are we coming in? The police are there and it is not Zanu PF that investigates cases.”

Mnangagwa, his deputy Constantino Chiwenga and several ministers have visited the shrine in a bid to solicit for votes prior to elections.

Mnangagwa’s predecessor, the late former President Robert Mugabe has also visited the sect’s shrine, described by observers as a huge Zanu PF constituency. Mnangagwa’s government has surfaced a 10km stretch of road leading to the shrine.

Simon Khaya-Moyo spits out his teeth as ZANU PF scoffs at the Nelson Chamisa-led MDC Alliance celebrating the victory of Zambia’s President-elect Hakainde Hichilema in the elections held on 12 August in the neighbouring Zambia.

ZANU PF spokesperson Simon Khaya-Moyo said the MDC Alliance’s response to Hichilema’s victory exhibits cardinal political immaturity.

Khaya-Moyo stated that Zambia and Zimbabwe were sovereign States who needed no external interference when holding their elections. Said Moyo

Khaya-Moyo said ZANU PF’s position in relation to the recently held elections in Zambia is fully reflected in the congratulatory message sent by President Emmerson Mnangagwa to Hichilema following his victory.

He said the ruling party will not waste time on the MDC Alliance “antics”.

The main reason for the ZANU PF antics of late when they bemoan the loss of PF in Zambia is that, the PF in Zambia mirrors the antics of the PF in Zimbabwe.  As an example The winner of the latest elections was arrested so many times by the police in Zambia acting under the instructions of the PF in Zambia.

The winner HH was even arrested on Treason Charges at one point.  

It is likely just that ZANU PF is actually quaking in their boots, because they know, their days are numbered.
