Milton Keynes man found guilty of 11 sexual offences against children

Milton Keynes man found guilty of 11 sexual offences against children

A 44-year-old Milton Keynes man has been found guilty of 11 sexual offences against children.

Following a 10-day trial, Simba Masvaure, from Kingsfold in Bradville, was found guilty of sexual assault by penetration, attempted rape and sexual activity with a child.

The offences took place in Northampton over a 12-year period, Northampton Crown Court heard.

The jury delivered their verdict last Friday (June 11) and Masvaure was remanded in custody for sentencing in August.

The officer who led the investigation, Detective Constable Kirsty Brooks from the Northampton police Child Protection Team, said: “First and foremost, I’d like to pay tribute to the incredible strength and bravery of the victims. Their stoicism throughout a long investigation and a difficult 10-day trial has been astounding.

“I am so pleased the jury delivered the right verdict. Masvaure is an evil and manipulative man who put his victims through the anguish of a long trial and continued to lie right up to its conclusion.

“He groomed, manipulated and abused over a long period of time and to stand up and speak out against him takes enormous courage. It also sends out a message to other victims: we will listen to you; we will believe you; we will do all we can to bring offenders to justice.

“Masvaure is where he should be - behind bars, where he cannot hurt anybody else.”

Anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault, whether recent or non-recent, should come forward and call police on 101.

In a show that was filled with explosive reveals regarding alleged infidelity in the relationship that famous dancer Bev has with a Zimbabwean U.K. based Healthcare Professional, Amai TT took time out to express her appreciation of Blambi and how she laments the treatment many women receive at the hands of their men.

Mai TT has expressed herself in a way that only she can.

It is alleged in that Bev is extremely upset and was contemplating self harming or worse because of the way she is being treated by her man who is said to be based in the U.K.

In this clip Mai TT laments and asks, “why would a man leave Bev given the way Bev knows how to move her hips and her bums?”

On a more serious note, gender based violence is a real problem that many people are facing around the world.  It is so important for people to be able to express themselves and for people who might be suffering to seek help and support.

MDC Alliance Members House Burnt Down

CHIVHU -

In a suspected case of political violence, MDC- Alliance spokesperson for Chikomba West, Noel Kureva's three-bedroomed house in Ward 20 was burnt on Saturday afternoon by unknown persons.

The incident happened at around 15:00hrs when no one was at home, but with property and food worthy US$2 500 being destroyed.

Important documents and property including sofas, television sets, radio sets, cement, maize, groceries, bicycles and blankets were burnt.

Mashonaland East provincial police spokesperson Inspector Tendai Mwanza was not reached for a comment as his mobile phone was not reachable by the time of writing.

A close source who preferred his identity to be kept anonymous for fear of possible victimisation told TellZim that the incident follows many threats against Kureva by some Zanu PF activists who demanded that he should vacate his plot.

"We suspect that the house was burnt down by Zanu PF members who have been threatening him to vacate the plot where he stays. My question to this case is whether the land belongs only to Zanu PF and those who are loyal to it.

"We understand the land belongs to every Zimbabwean and everyone has a right to the land and we must not fight over it but we must rather develop it," said the source.

The source said opposition supporters in the area were worried with the increasing number of political violence in their area.

"We are worried with the increasing numbers of politically related violence in our district and the province at large. We are no longer safe and we are having sleepless nights in fear of being victimised," he said.

MDC Alliance Mashonaland East provincial spokesman Chengetai Murowa said the party was concerned about the increasing cases of political violence in the province.

He said the matter has been reported to the police and they are investigating the matter.

Murowa said his party was also worried about the continued harassment of MDC Alliance supporters by suspected Zanu PF activists especially during campaign time.

"One of our activists in Chikomba West had his house burnt by fire and we are suspecting members from the Zanu-PF party in the area.

"A police report was made and the police have started their investigations. However, we totally condemn this political violence as we start campaigning towards 2023 polls. Police should act upon this criminality and catch up with such undemocratic perpetrators who are against peace and development.

"Burning someone's house is against our culture and as such the law should take its course," Marowa said.

All Civil Servants Belong to ZANU PF

Picture from Pindula

Seemingly drunken, killer of Zimbabwean Economic Development, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Development Clemence Chiduwa of Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front (ZANU PF) political party has recently declared that all Zimbabwean government workers belong to the ruling Zanu-PF party and are under obligation to support the party.

This just shows how shallow and narrow minded ZANU PF leaders are.  The civil servants are meant to work for the nation, not a political party.  Still what would one expect from one who also likely supports vote rigging and looting at the expense of the Nation.

Unfortunately he does not seem to know or care about the ramifications of his actions and words, especially since he is the Deputy Finance Minister and is meant to be Mthuli Ncube’s number 2.

One the other hand one might say it is not a surprise as the latest Statutory Instrument that has been brought in by his ZANU PF party seems to be there to take foreign currency out of the Zimbabwean economy, especially including from exporters who have the ability to generate billions for the former bread basket of Africa.

If one was an investor, one would most definitely invest in Zimbabwe, however the amount of money that I would invest would be an amount that I could afford to lose.  The premium that I would put on my investment would be closer to 200% per annum than 5% per annum.  This would be reflecting the corporate theft that is taking place in Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Finance and the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe.

Nick Mangwana Shares Nigeria Twitter Ban

Nick Mangwana Posts Nigerian Twitter Ban

In what seems to be a nod to what might come next, Nick Mangwana has tweeted regarding Nigeria’s failed nation wide Twitter ban.
https://twitter.com/nickmangwana/status/1401427166617812992?s=21

In the Tweet by Nick Mangwana he referenced the BBC post that makes it clear that the Nigerian Government has said it will punish all who defy the Twitter ban.

Zimbabweans will likely be watching the events in Nigeria very closely as the ZANU PF part that currently represents the Zimbabwean Government has been on the back foot for many years on the social media front, especially on Twitter.

If those who criticise the Nigerian Government or President Buhari are arrested, it is highly likely, the ZANU PF regime will move to do the same in order to try and put the breaks on the heavy loses that they are suffering online.
