In what is a clear sign of a show of power, New Zimbabwe has shown the swearing in of the new Judge President of Zimbabwe.
Sadly in a country where the opposition can not gather for a rally, footballers can not play freely, the elites show that indeed they are a cut above the rest in terms of likely immunity and health outcomes.
This time it is the courts that would send people to jail and or prison for breaching the COVID-19 restrictions that have done just that. Who will prosecute the judges and judge them as they obviously can not judge themselves.
May God help Zimbabwe. May God help Zimbabweans.
